Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born August 4th 1981 - is an American Actress. Most well-known is her role in the film Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and the Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You, as well in the television series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. The actress is currently playing Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in film and television. She rose to fame with her roles in the drama show Rectify. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut with a role in the soap opera All My Children. The soap opera All My Children won the actress an award by the soap Opera Digest for Best Female newcomer. She mostly played in character roles as a guest throughout the span of some time. Her performance was praised for the part she took on in the role of Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. She slowly grew a large audience thanks to her amazing looks and incredible acting abilities. Her first film appearance came when she was around the age of twenty playing a role in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she starred. The part she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. The main character in Timeless is Lucy Preston, history professor. The series has been praised by critics and Spencer's performance has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award.
