 A stick analogous to sizing

You can measure the size of rings by using a metal, paper, or plastic sizer for rings (a gauge) or using the measurement of the inner diameter the ring already set.

Ring sticks are instruments that are used to gauge the size of a ring, and typically are made of wood, plastic, delrin aluminum, or different materials. Rings can be made using digital sticks for precise measurements.

 International standard

ISO 8653:2016 defines standard size rings as the circumference of the inner ring measured in millimeters. ISO sizes are used to measure the circumference of rings in Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland), and other countries of Continental Europe
