Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather immigrated into the United States from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. While Nash was always enthusiastic about sports, she was always dreaming of becoming a news anchor. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. Clemson awarded her with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for her services as a coach on the Sports Information Department's soccer and baseball teams she was awarded a full athletic scholarship by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is a MLB Network studio host. She has appeared in a variety of shows, including Quick Pitch (nightly highlights) and Quick Pitch (quick pitch). Her appearances on On The Fly, the Nightly Game recap show, and NHL Network Studio are a component of her work as host for NHL Network Studio. In March of 2015 she joined the MLB Network. She also began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015. This was when the NHL Network's operations on a daily basis were housed at the MLB Network headquarters.
